This policy explains how I collect, use, store and share your personal information.

Information I collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

Your full name and email address when you request a resource or subscribe.
Information you provide when contacting me or giving feedback.
Your responses and results if you complete one of my scorecards.
Email engagement information, such as opens and link clicks, where tracking is enabled.
Technical information collected by my website and service providers, such as your IP address, browser and browsing activity.

Please avoid sending medical records or detailed personal health information. These are not required to access any of my resources.

How I collect and use information

I collect information through my sign-up forms, subscriptions, correspondence and scorecards. You may reach these through collaborations, bundles, summits or promotions. Where an organiser collects and shares your information with me, this must be explained to you and supported by any consent required for that sharing and subsequent marketing.

I use this information to:

Deliver resources you request.
Send the emails described when you sign up.
Send newsletters, educational information and offers where you have consented to receive them.
Respond to enquiries and provide support.
Understand engagement and improve my resources.
Meet legal obligations.

You can browse publicly available content without providing your name. If you do not provide an email address, I cannot deliver resources that require email delivery.

When you join my Vitality Foundations community on Skool, I may collect your name, email address and answers to membership questions. I use this information to manage your membership, provide community resources and communicate with you about the community. If you also subscribe to my email newsletter, I use your email address to send the communications described when you subscribe.

Your profile, posts and comments may be visible to other members or a wider audience, depending on the community and platform settings. Skool also handles personal information under its own Privacy Policy: https://www.skool.com/legal?t=privacy.

Email subscriptions

The sign-up page explains which emails you are subscribing to. Requesting a resource does not give unrelated businesses permission to market to you.

You can unsubscribe using the link in my marketing emails or by contacting me. Unsubscribe requests will be actioned within five working days.

Service providers and sharing

I use service providers to operate my website, manage subscriptions and deliver resources. These include:

Wix for website hosting and website functionality.
MailerLite for email subscriptions and delivery.
ScoreApp where you choose to complete a scorecard.
Zapier to transfer contact information from ScoreApp to MailerLite for email delivery and subscription management.
BookFunnel for digital resource delivery.
Skool for hosting and managing my Vitality Foundations community, including membership information and community communications.

These providers receive the information needed to perform their services. Their own privacy policies also explain how they handle information.

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I may disclose information where required or authorised by law, or to professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

Overseas information handling

My service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia.

Wix identifies data centres in the United States and Ireland, and may also process information through its group companies and service providers in other countries. Wix is based in Israel.

MailerLite stores data for its new platform in the Netherlands. For Australian customers, its published arrangements also identify transfers to its United States entity. Its listed subprocessors include companies in Ireland and Poland.

ScoreApp is based in the United Kingdom and identifies hosting within the European Union. Some optional services involve processing in the United States, depending on the features used.

Zapier stores and processes information in the United States and may use subprocessors in other locations.

BookFunnel’s specific storage and processing countries are being confirmed.

Skool is a United States company. Its specific storage and processing countries for community member information are being confirmed.

Cookies, analytics and email tracking

My website is hosted on Wix and uses cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality and security.

I use Wix Analytics to understand website visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate visitor locations and time spent on the site. This helps me improve my website and content.

I use MailerLite to measure email opens through an invisible tracking beacon and record link clicks. Reports may also include information about the email software or device used to view messages. I use this information to understand subscriber interests and improve future emails.

I use ScoreApp to collect scorecard responses, calculate results and review visits, starts, completions, scores and completion times.

Zapier transfers contact information from ScoreApp to MailerLite to support the email subscriptions described on the sign-up page.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although restricting cookies may affect some website features. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each email.

Storage and security

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

I retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy or to meet legal obligations. I then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. I may retain a minimal unsubscribe record to prevent further marketing emails.

Access, corrections and deletion requests

You can contact lorraine@lorrainelawsonauthor.com to request access to your personal information, correct it or request deletion.

I may need to verify your identity. If I cannot fulfil a request, I will explain why, subject to applicable law.

Privacy concerns and complaints
